Hale Mahina means "House of the Moon" in Hawaiian and if you are fortunate enough to be on the lanai (balcony) of unit B206 under full moon, you will never forget the experience. The Hale Mahina Beach Resort, and unit B206, will provide you with first class accommodations at a very moderate price. The resort is directly on the ocean and unit B206 is a large end unit on the 2nd floor. Only the pool and a few feet of grass separate you from the white sand swimming beach and the blue Pacific. The beautiful buildings are surrounded by lush, tropical gardens that include palm trees and a variety of local foliage such as orchids and plumeria. You can swim or snorkel directly in front of your large private lanai, go for a dip in the pool, or relax in the Jacuzzi. From your lanai and your living room, you can look across the 8 mile wide Pailolo Channel -- the famed "whale alley" -- for a complete view of the rugged island of Molokai. You can watch the whales and dolphins that frequent these waters. Or, just relax with a cool drink while cooking your mahi mahi on the BBQ right at the edge of the beach. You can't beat it -- this is heaven.

B206 is a large (over 800 sq ft) one bedroom unit with an equally large, and private, lanai. Four adults are easily accommodated with the two queen-size beds. Because B206 is an end unit, you are provided with better views and superior access to the continuous mountain breeze. No client has ever expressed dissatisfaction for lack of air conditioning. There is gated access to the swimming beach, pool, and Jacuzzi assuring guest privacy. The sound of the ocean is continuous, even from the bedroom.

You can walk 1/2 mile for groceries or drive to Kaanapali, which is less than 2 miles to the south. And Lahaina, the famed whaling port and former capital of Hawaii, is just 6 miles to the south.
